It starts from the moment you step out to start your day,  take an extra moment and have a look around, not at the usual, cars in the drive way,  a distant glance at people coming and going, a quick look at the weather, then off to the hustle bustle of everyday living, but at the things you have been missing!.

You may discover there is alot that you had in plain sight you had not noticed before,  Let your senses guide you to some amazing things, (I should add here, its all free).

Next time you open your door, pause, listen, look a little closer.  You worked so hard shovelling, weeding, planting, watering your garden, why not get some beautiful images of the fragile flowers that greet you, (if you don’t have a gently blowing garden, that’s another topic, you need to look into!) “the beautiful images are worth the effort”

On a cold winter night you can look back and anticipate spring with a new urgency to get more inspiring shots of nature, that offers up some pretty amazing sights

I would suggest  to add a few birdhouses throughout your yard, you will be rewarded, the birds you will aquire can entertain for hours, especially in the spring, the baby birds appreciate an easy food sourse and will keep returning throughout the season, you may even get a visit from a squirrel or two, you may get them eating right out of your hand!, they like a quick meal too!.

In stead of your usual route to work or the mall, wherever you are going, take a different route!, a drive through a local park will present you with more than a few photo opps. Sights that can take your breath away when captured with your digital camera, an early sunrise can turn into yout favorite fine art gallery in your living room, or on the way home a beautiful sunset can complete the grouping! With the ease of editing and framing in our digital age this is not hard to do!

Oh, and that special occassion gathering, with a little planning can turn those treasured memories into photographs that would rival a proffessional photographer, but watch out you may make money along the way, when your long lost relatives are calling “you” to photograph their next special occasion, snap away and enjoy, “your new found love of photography”!

Undoubtedly a wedding is one of the most precious moments in a couple\’s life. Preserving it through photos is one way to keep the memories alive for a lifetime. There are a variety of options that today\’s brides and grooms can choose from when it comes to deciding the kind of photographs they want to have for one of the most important days of their lives.

This digital photography tutorial will now reveal some awesome tips to produce the wedding photos of a couple\’s dreams:

1. Selecting the right photographer

Before you can choose a wedding photographer the couple must first decide on the styles of photos they want.

Portrait photographers are perfectly capable of capturing both formal and casual photos, however he will most likely concentrate on the formal ones.

Photojournalists mostly take candid shots, not posed. This kind of photographer usually has experience in journalism photography.

Hobbyist photographers are typically a friend or relative who would offer their service for a pretty low price. Unless they have taken wedding photos before you probably won\’t know what kinds of photos they will take and you do run the risk of having photos not turn out as well as what you would receive from a professional.

2. Finding the perfect camera

Wedding photographers usually use two basic camera types: the 35mm and the medium format. The 35mm has the tendency to produce pictures that are a little grainy, but its usually only the photographer themselves that notice the difference.

3. Color or black and white photos?

Color is what is typically used in wedding photos; however, black and white photos do lend a dramatic effect. Black and white photos will typically last longer than color photos, though color films capture the details of the event more appropriately. You can have your photos all taken in color and then converted into black and white once you have viewed the images.

4, Personality of the photographer

Most couples want a photographer who can take great pictures but who is also friendly and sociable. Interview your photographer candidates and make sure you can work together. You also want to ask for references and view his portfolio of work to make sure his standards meet yours.

Following these tips will help couples get the perfect photos to preserve the memories of their special day. Great photos can be showcased proudly and passed down to future generations to cherish.

Some view life as a collection of memories and whether or not this is true is not the purpose of this article. However, we will say that you will definitely want to save your vacation memories on film, whether by photos or video, rather than just your memory. Going back to look at pictures after a cruise can take you back to those great feelings and help you remember some of the moments you may have forgotten.

Here are some useful tips whether you are new to photography or a professional with extensive knowledge of the skills necessary to take fantastic pictures. The information provided here is not necessarily about all of the techniques of photography, but rather on the more personal side of taking pictures and capturing memories. For those of you desiring a holiday video, these tips can also be useful since the information is not focused on the technical side of photos.

First, do not go into your cruise or vacation viewing it as an extended photo session of every pose possible. Remember, it is a vacation. You will undoubtedly not forget you were present on the ship, so a collection of pictures proving your presence is not the goal. Rather, you want to take pictures to portray the atmosphere on the cruise or vacation destination. For example, instead of lining everyone against the side railing for the most “still image” shot possible, opt for unexpected snap shots. These will better capture the true atmosphere and bring back the pleasant feelings and fun times when you go back to reminisce. Even the blurred pictures you may end up with can show some of the vacation spirit and present a truer image of the fabulous time you had.

Also, do not forget to take pictures of the surroundings. If you are on a cruise, appreciate the fact that it is not an everyday time so be sure you have many photos to remember it. Some great shots are the ocean view, your cabin and even the crew but remember to be creative even with these shots. For these shots, though, you may want to spend a little more time finding the best lighting, angle and camera settings. What you include in the photo and the angle from which you shoot it can make a big difference in reminiscing later when looking at the photos.

Finally, don’t go overboard. No pun intended. The best camera or video equipment available may provide more guarantee of technically better photos and shots. But, you may find a regular camera, digital camera or even a disposable camera more convenient. After the vacation and in the years to come, it will not be the picture quality that you pay attention to but rather the great time you had. So, relax, enjoy the vacation and capture the memories to be shared!
